Sustainable Wine Solutions from Borough Wines
We work with some incredible producers from around the world, relationships with vineyards built up since 2002 through our Borough Market roots at Borough Wines. We focus on low intervention producers who are often using natural techniques and regenerative farming practices. Many of our wines are also organic, HVE3, or working towards those standards. We transport wine in bulk to reduce our carbon footprint and package onsite at our London based urban winery into our our Bottle Return and WineAgain (coming soon!) projects, and into reusable kegs for Wine-on-Tap. We aim to put an end to single use glass with circularity at the heart of our supply chain.
Sustainable Wine Solutions from Borough Wines also provide innovative quality driven Zero Waste wine systems to the wider wine trade: Wine-on-Tap, FlexiKeg and bottling for either Bottle Return or following the ReuseReady Charter. Combining the quality control benefits of a commercial bottling and kegging line with our onsite lab and an artisan approach, we are able to assist with all aspects of packaging bulk wines keeping circularity at the heart of any project.

What is the Bottle Return Scheme?
The Bottle Return scheme brings a new, sustainable lease of life to the traditional wine bottle: each one can be returned, sterilised and reused at least 30 times, reducing the carbon footprint of each bottle by up to 95%.
Why doesn’t recycling go far enough? According to RecycleNow, U.K. hospitality alone throws an estimated 129,000 tonnes of glass into landfill every year: we offer a practical, convenient way of breaking this one way wasteful chain whilst still supplying the traditional wine bottle consumers love. WHAT IS WINE-ON-TAP?
Wine-on-Tap delivers wine via a keg system, just as you’d pull a pint of beer. We are the only U.K. supplier of Wine–on–Tap using reusable kegs. Our kegs offer incredible quality preservation, no wastage, perfect quick pours and a massive reduction in your glass and cardboard waste output.
